NONSENSE!
Right, so hi! I dislike talking about myself too much, what's there to tell that you'll be so interested in anyway? I'm not a horrible person, but I'm a little awful sometimes - though I believe awful is subject to person to person, not to mention fun sometimes!
I'm on EASTERN time and have horrible bouts of insomnia - or it's the coffee, I can't always decide. I'm flippy and paranoid and enjoy a good amount of preening and adoration, but who doesn't? I'm not saying I deserve such things, but if you do it to me, I can promise it'll be returned ten fold. We all love being loved. I've been writing for entirely too fucking long, so I know my ins and outs as well as anybody else. Don't worry about a thing, if you want to write in third person, that's fine, if you want to pull out the little stars that's cool too. Just first person kinda creeps me out a little so, if you have to do it that way, give a girl some warning, okay?
FANDOMS are peachy keen, so long as I know what I'm doing. Batman is fantastic but I'm partial to Harley and Catwoman (possibly Poison Ivy) as apposed to those random broads Bruce had flings with. I am positively in love with Alice in Wonderland, almost all the various verses you could possibly pull out of a hat. Right now, to make things easiest on everyone the SyFy and Burton verse are probably the most popular, but When Curiosity Met Insanity is pretty rad! I have my own little idea for the Sea Witch and Captain Hook, the Queen of Hearts and the Knave, also. I really stupidly love Alice in Wonderland (... and pirates and mermaids. What? Don't look at me like that).
I can write guys, but I'm kind of in a rut as to who's face I could possibly use, if you have suggestions I'd love to hear them. Like almost everyone else on the darn server, I'm good at girls but I'm paranoid about emasculating a guy with something like "He ran to the bunnies and cuddled them to his chest, 'Soooo cute!", which I'm sure you can understand. I have three, count 'em, three! boys that I would consider using for some very specific things, but they're only busted out on special occasions. Seriously special occasions.
I like playing girls with a pinup quality to them, but other sorts aren't out of the question. I love Dita Von Teese unabashedly, she's my favorite in the world.
Threading is a pro, but I worry about forgetting, so if you want to pound me upside my head with something, please do so. Just in case.
OTHER THAN THAT, I love love love the 1920s/30s/40s and possibly even the 50s if I could pull a Valium!house wife. If you want a flapper or a show girl, I'd love you forever, but I know not everyone is down for that sort of thing, so I'm flexible. I would also kill small creatures in your name if you'd want to do something in the early to mid 1990s, I'm all about some grunge-y goodness and love most of the early SUBPOP bands. I have an affinity for Courtney Love and all things HOLE, we could have the great KINDERWHORE!War or her on again off again relationship with that Cobain guy. Or anyone else for that matter. So, in conclusion = PB and FANDOM are all just perfectly fine with me. So long as I know what we're doing.
A more reasonable list of pairings and thoughts will be constructed in the coming days, hold your horses.
When it comes to the question of writing out sex or anything else, it's just a matter of taste. If it can be done without me looking at the monitor going '..Dear god. WHY?' I'm okay with it, fading to black is perfectly fine as well. Whatever happens happens, right?
As for scene dropping, I understand I get boring and stupid and maybe you don't want to hear about Robbie Williams music in the background anymore. That's fine, I'll understand about the quietly slipping out the back door, or if you want to tell me up front. Either way, we're adults right? Cool. |
